Abstract |
The main purpose of this paper is to examine the extent of spatial urban disparities and the effect of communication and information on city development in Iran. The study has found that there are high spatial disparities between urban areas in Iran, particularly between Metropolitan Tehran and the rest of urban areas. The paper ends with a review of the Islamic Government decentralization policies for facing urban problems. Finally, a number of conclusions have been provided. |
